Arab Saleem under a wide daytime sky: a hillside village with a minaret, thin clouds drifting overhead

I have my quarrels with theatre. I write for it anyway. For the most part, I have been far from Arab Saleem, my village in Southern Lebanon. I'll write from it anyway.

Mostly, I deal in text, taking notes with permanent markers, guest editing for the theatre section of Rusted Radishes, a Beirut-based literary magazine, or sitting with friends over their pages, looking for the architecture underneath.
